Most YSDICE clients choose DDP door-to-door: we handle freight, export clearance, import duties and last-mile delivery, and the price you agreed is the landed price at your warehouse — no surprise invoice at customs. EXW and FOB are available if you run your own forwarder.

Speed matched to the order: DHL/FedEx/UPS express in 3–7 days for samples and small runs, sea freight in 25–35 days for volume, with consolidation available. Kickstarter runs can deliver straight to your fulfilment hub. Everything leaves Dongguan in export-grade cartons — bubble-wrapped sets, banded boxes, corner protection — packed for a 30-day crossing, not just the truck to the port.

Yes — that is the core of custom dice work at YSDICE. On metal dice your logo can be cast into the mold, laser-engraved or enamel-filled; on resin and acrylic it is laser-marked or printed; on silicone it is debossed in the tool and pad-printed; on wooden and gemstone dice it is engraved. Edition numbers, replaced faces (a sigil instead of the 20, a brand mark instead of the 1) and full packaging in your artwork are all standard requests.

Every placement is agreed on the free 3D proof before anything is made, so the logo lands exactly where you signed it off — checked again at the sample stage and once more at final inspection.

Three concrete protections, all in writing. First, your mold is exclusively yours — YSDICE never runs another client's order on it, and never resells your design. Second, an NDA is available on request and covers artwork, molds and unannounced products (standard for licensed and Kickstarter work). Third, our own retail store Maywinflow carries only Yushun's in-house stock designs — we are a factory, not a competitor waiting to clone your best seller.

Both, through two doors. Wholesale, light custom (ODM) and full custom (OEM) run factory-direct through YSDICE — that is this site. Single retail sets of our in-house designs ship worldwide from Maywinflow, our own retail store, so collectors and players can buy one set of the same dice publishers order by the thousand.

What genuinely needs 100+ sets is a brand-new OEM mold — the economics of cutting steel do not work below that. But most small brands discover the recolour route gets them a set that looks proprietary without the tooling spend, and they graduate to their own mold on the reorder.

A new steel mold at Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd. runs $600–$2,000 depending on shape and detail, quoted as a one-time line item before you commit — and refunded progressively as your reorder volume grows, so a design that sells ends up paying nothing for its tooling. Your mold is never used for anyone else; that exclusivity is written into the contract.

Two lines skip tooling entirely: gemstone dice need no mold at all (the design is ground and engraved directly, sample in 5–7 days), and wooden dice are CNC-machined from solid stock. And light customisation on any of our 450+ existing molds never pays a tooling fee — you are reusing steel that already exists.

Light customisation (ODM) — your colours and a laser-engraved logo on YSDICE's existing molds — starts around 10 sets with no tooling fee. Full custom (OEM) with a brand-new mold starts at about 100 sets for metal, sharp edge and rounded resin (acrylic from 500).

So a Kickstarter test batch or a first retail print run is a real order at Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd. — you do not need the 1,500-unit commitment most dice factories quote before they will talk.

Any design Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd. already tools and runs — the 450+ designs in our catalogue across sharp edge, rounded resin, acrylic, silicone, wooden and gemstone dice. Stock minimums per colour: gemstone and wooden 2 sets, sharp edge / rounded / silicone 5, acrylic 10 — mixable across materials in one order, or simply reach a $500 combined total (freight excluded).

One deliberate exception: metal dice are never stocked, because plating oxidises on a shelf. Every metal order is cast and electroplated fresh, which is why a YSDICE metal set arrives bright rather than shelf-aged.

50% deposit to schedule production, balance before shipment — the structure almost every dice factory in Guangdong uses, and the balance is only due after you have seen the final inspection photo report. Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd. accepts T/T bank transfer, PayPal, Alipay / WeChat Pay, and Alibaba Trade Assurance for buyers who want the platform's escrow protection on a first order.

Mold fees (full custom only) are invoiced up front as their own line item and refunded progressively on reorders; sample costs are credited against the production order.

Because the physics is against them. A plain rounded resin die casts with roughly a 5% reject rate; put an animal, a flower or a liquid-core capsule inside and the reject rate climbs to 20–30% — the inclusion shifts, tilts, or traps a bubble, and that die is scrap. The figure itself also has to be made, positioned by hand, and held in place while the resin cures around it.

YSDICE prices and schedules for that reject rate up front and deliberately over-pours the run, so your quantity arrives complete. The alternative — a factory that quotes inclusion dice at plain-resin prices — recovers the difference later, usually from your schedule.

Electroplating oxidises in storage. A plated zinc-alloy die that sits six months on a warehouse shelf loses the brightness that makes metal dice worth their weight — edges dull first, then the whole finish flattens. So Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd. keeps no plated stock at all, on purpose.

Every metal dice order is die-cast, deburred, plated and enamel-filled fresh to that order — 10–15 days for light custom bulk after a 3–5 day sample. You wait slightly longer than pulling a box off a shelf; in exchange the plating that reaches you is days old, not seasons old.

By material, from the schedule we quote every week at Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd.: light custom metal dice and sharp edge resin run 10–15 days in bulk (samples 3–5); acrylic and silicone 20–25 days (samples 5–7); rounded resin 25–30 days (samples 7–10); gemstone 15–20 days with no mold needed. Full custom adds 15–25 days of mold cutting up front.

A typical full-custom metal DND dice order end to end: 20–25 days for the steel mold, 3–5 for your sample, then 20–25 for mass production — call it ten weeks before freight. We put these numbers in writing on the quote rather than promising "about a month" and renegotiating later.

Because every line shares one floor and one project manager, a mixed order — say metal DND dice with resin minis and a PU dice tray — ships in one carton with one photo report. That breadth is the practical difference between a dice manufacturer and a trading company reselling from three different workshops.

Yes — wooden cases, magnetic-closure display boxes, PU leather dragon-eye drawstring pouches and fold-flat hexagon dice trays, made by the same factory that casts the dice. Matching maker means matching brand: the teal you approve for the enamel fill is the same teal printed on the tray.

Most accessories run as light custom — your printed or debossed logo on an existing pattern, sample in 5–7 days, bulk in 15–20 — and they ship in the same carton as the dice, inspected together under one photo report from YSDICE.

Any time — factory visits and third-party audits are welcome at the Yushun floor in Chang'an, Dongguan, about 45 minutes from Shenzhen Bao'an airport. Walk the die-casting machines, the pouring and painting benches and the inspection tables, and hold your samples in the room where they were made.

Yes — a large share of YSDICE orders are crowdfunded dice sets, and the honest schedule matters more to a campaign than a cheap quote. Working numbers: free 3D proof in 3 days, samples in 3–10 days by material, mass production 10–30 days, plus 20–25 days first if a new mold is cut. Sea freight adds 25–35 days; express 3–7.

Practical advice we give every creator: get the sample approved before your campaign launches, so the risky part of manufacturing is already behind you while backers are still pledging. We also deliver direct to fulfilment hubs, and inclusion (core-in-resin) designs are over-poured against their known 20–30% casting reject rate so your backer count arrives whole.

Always — no serious dice manufacturer should ask you to commit to a container unseen. Samples of existing YSDICE designs ship within a week; custom pre-production samples take 3–10 days depending on material (metal and sharp edge resin 3–5, silicone and acrylic 5–7, rounded resin 7–10). The sample cost is refunded against your production order, so you never pay twice for the same dice.

The approved sample then becomes the contractual quality reference: colour, weight, numeral fill and finish are photographed and archived, and your bulk run is inspected against that exact set — not against memory.

Anything from a napkin sketch to production-ready 3D files — YSDICE rebuilds every design in 3D anyway, so rough is genuinely fine. Ideal inputs: your logo as vector (AI/SVG/PDF), reference photos of dice you like, target material and quantity. STL/STEP files go straight to mold engineering, where we check draft angles, wall thickness and numeral placement for fairness.

A client once sent a hand sketch of cheese dice — holes, drips, a cheese-wedge d4 — and we cut the mold and cast them. The free rendered proof shows every face before you commit a dollar to tooling.

Yes. Give us Pantone references — or even a phone photo of your brand swatch — and enamel fills, resin pours, silicone pigments and packaging are matched to them. Colour is locked at the pre-production sample: you approve a physical set, it is photographed and archived, and the bulk run at Dongguan Yushun Hardware Co., Ltd. is inspected against that exact reference.

On reorders, quote your original order number and we pull the archived standard — plus a side-by-side photo of the new batch against it — so run two looks like run one, even a year later.
