Sustainability
We would rather show you documents than adjectives. Here is what we can prove about the materials we buy, how our order model avoids waste, and — just as importantly — what we have not solved yet.

Evidence, not adjectives
We are a 2018-founded dice factory in Chang'an, Dongguan — not a carbon-neutral campus. We will not publish a carbon figure we cannot audit. What we can do is document our material safety, keep waste low through how we take orders, and be straight with you about the rest.
DocumentedMaterial safety, on paper
The unsaturated polyester resin behind our rounded dice line is supplied with an SGS report to EN 71-3:2019+A2:2024 (migration of certain elements, Category III — scraped-off toy material). All nineteen regulated elements came back ND — not detected, including lead, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, mercury and arsenic. The paint used for number fill carries a separate RoHS 31-substance report. Between them, the two parts a player actually touches — the die body and the pigment in the numbers — are both covered.
No dead stockMade to order, not to warehouse
Custom dice are cast against confirmed orders. We are not producing speculative colourways that sit in a warehouse for two years and then get written off — the single largest source of waste in consumer goods. Sample runs are deliberately small, and the sample cost comes off your production order rather than being thrown away as a marketing expense.
We also do not sell factory seconds or rejects into the market. A client design stays a client design.
Reused toolingMolds that get used again
Around 450 finished molds sit on our shelves. Light customisation — your colours, your logo and your packaging on an existing mold — is the route we recommend first, and it means no new steel is cut, no 20–25 day tooling cycle is burned, and no mold is scrapped after a single short run. Silicone molds for resin work are re-cast from a master rather than machined from new stock each time.
A brand-new steel mold is worth cutting when the design genuinely needs it — not by default.
LongevityBuilt to outlive the campaign
A zinc-alloy set with baked enamel numbers, or a hand-ground gemstone set, will still be rolling in thirty years. That is the point of the material choice rather than a marketing line: the most environmentally sound dice are the ones nobody replaces. We would rather sell one heavy set that lasts than three cheap sets that crack.
Metal, gemstone and hardwood are all re-polishable — a scratched metal die can be re-tumbled, not binned.
WasteThe waste we actually control
Most of our waste reduction happens at the bench, before anything is thrown out. Vacuum degassing and pressure curing exist so that bubbles never become rejects. Grinding media are stepped down through grades and every piece is washed between stages, so a coarse grain cannot scratch a finished face and force a re-run. Q-check and 7-piece set matching before packing stop the wrong dice being shipped — and shipped back again.
Metal offcuts and sprue go to scrap collectors. Cured resin waste has no viable recycling route in our area at present, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
HonestWhere we are not there yet
Plating is done by a licensed partner shop near the factory rather than by us, so their effluent treatment is their compliance to demonstrate, not ours to claim. We have no solar generation. We have no third-party carbon accounting. Acrylic regrind is technically possible but we cannot yet evidence a closed loop for it. Packaging is paper-based, but we have not audited the full chain.
If a buyer needs any of the above documented, just tell us — we’ll sort the paperwork together.
